I seem to remember reading about a fabulous bakery/store that sells only cupcakes....and always has a line! I cannot find the information again - or even the name. Can anyone help?

Cupcake Bakery/Store?
Magnolia Bakery in the West Village. The cupcakes were great but the banana pudding was OUT OF THIS WORLD!!!! :)
Also, killer cupcakes are are served at Crumbs so you may want to stop into one of the locations if you pass by one. http://www.crumbsbakeshop.com/
Magnolia may have the lines, due to overexposure on SAC, but there is many a good cupcake to be had in NYC:
Billy%26#39;s Bakery...http://www.billysbakerynyc.com/about.html
Cupcake Cafe...http://www.cupcakecafe-nyc.com/
Almondine...http://www.almondinebakery.com/
Downtown Atlantic...http://www.downtownatlantic.com/
Cakeman Raven...http://www.cakemanraven.com/
Also, I can vouch for:

Also if Magnolia is the one in the Chelsea Market, then yes........great cupcakes, if not, there is one i the Chelsea Market......sorry cant remember name.
Nope - Magnolia isnt in Chelsea Market - that%26#39;s Fat Witch or the other one whose name I cant think of. Magnolia is on Bleeker Street - where crazy people wait an hour for a cupcake because someone ate one there on S-x and the City!
Billy%26#39;s would be my place of choice. I%26#39;m not a cupcake person, but their red velvet is pretty excellent. The cheesecakes are better!
The Chelsea Market cupcake place you%26#39;re thinking of is Eleni%26#39;s:

ah, thanks Crans! that%26#39;s the name I was forgetting.
Oh, and I%26#39;ll add that if you want Magnolia but don%26#39;t want the lines, head to the Upper West Side location, which just opened. I walked past on Saturday at 4, when the line at the Village location is halfway down the block, and it was a virtual ghost town inside.
