Girl trip in NYC...suggestions

Hello,

Myself and two of my best girlfriends will be travelling to NYC in October for the Madonna concert. We are between 28-30 years old. I was in NYC last year for 10 days so I pretty much know my way around and will be staying around the times square area.

We are looking for a nice resturant for the Sunday evening we will be there. We do not want something to ';romantic'; although we do enjoy fine dining and want this to be our ';nicest dinner';. We are not interested in a typical tourist trap and would like to go somewhere that is close to a fun martini type bar that we could go to later in the night for drinks and dancing....it is a Sunday night but I am sure there clubs will still be fun.

This will be a total girl trip of shopping and fun...any suggestions?

I think something in the Meatpacking District, Chelsea, or on the Lower East Side will be best.
