What is the cheapest way to get from the ISLP airport in long island to grand central station in manhattan? with luggage!!

The cheapest way is to take either a shuttle bus or a Suffolk County bus from the terminal to the Ronkonkoma station of the Long Island Railroad (LIRR). From there, you take a LIRR train into the city. The LIRR will take you to Penn Station, not Grand Central. From Penn Station, you can either walk or take a taxi across town to Grand Central.

As you probably know, Islip is not really an NYC airport, so all told this journey will take you at least 2 hours each way. More details here:
