Thinking of visiting in December and was wondering on average, whats the weather like in New york in December. Dont mind cold or ';dry snow'; but dont really want to get wet.

Typically December features some cold days and cold evenings but not the brutal cold we occasionally get in late January / early February.

We get a fair number of sunny days in December but we also get at least one miserably cold and rainy day (and evening) that just makes you wish you were in Florida.
