What's on in November??

Just wondering if anyone knows of any concerts or festivals or anything cool on in November?

My husband and I will be in NYC from Nov 5th-11th and would love to catch some live music while we%26#39;re there. Are there any decent bands playing during that time? We%26#39;re mainly into rock - not so big on r%26amp;b or pop. Also like a bit of jazz :)

Also - would love to go to some kind of sports event while there. My husband would have loved to see a baseball game while there, but I don%26#39;t especially like our chances of that in Nov - would Ice Hockey be the way to go?

Not sure on the sporting events when American season run to and from but I%26#39;d imagine there%26#39;ll be something to see!
