Mets game

Going to a Sunday day game in a couple of weeks. Are there any restaurants or things to do when the game ends around the stadium that we should check out before taking the subway back.

Nothing really. I%26#39;m going tonight and am going to grab something at the train staion.

Depending on what a couple of weeks is - if it%26#39;s Sunday, August 24th, you could walk over to the National Tennis Center and watch the US Open practice session - it%26#39;s free on that day.

Shea Stadium is part of Flushing Meadows/Corona Park, so in addition to the Tennis Center, you could also visit the Queens Museum (and see the Panorama!) or the Hall of Science. More info here:

You can also take the #7 train one stop and explore all the great Asian food available in downtown Flushing.

It is Aug. 24 so that works out real well. GWB, any particular restaurants that you would recommend and is it one stop towards Manhattan or in the other direction.

It is one stop away from Manhattan -- the end of the line, as a matter of fact: Main Street in Flushing.
