A group of us (7) bought tickets for Wicked and Jersey Boys in the Spring for a trip we are taking in September. One of us has passed away, and (his) wife obviously no longer wants to go - and quite honestly, needs the money that was spent on the tickets.
The tickets certainly would sell again, as they are for Fri and Sat nights - so the ticket agency would not lose out - but I am well aware of the no refund, no exchange policy. But, IMO, this is a different scenario, and I can provide proof of death (how macabre) if requested.
Does anyone have any idea if there are exceptions made and how one would go about requesting this? The remainder of the tickets would be used - it is only the 2 that we would ask be refunded.
TIA
Ticket Refund or Exchange - help needed, please
From whom did you buy the tickets? That will make a difference. If the woman has the tickets in her hands, she could resell them herself (probably at a considerable profit if she chose to) on ebay or stubhub.com
If the tickets are ';will call'; and were purchased from the official sellers (ticketmaster or telecharge) Ticketmaster has a ticket exchange where you can sell the tickets
www.ticketmaster.com/ticketexchangehome鈥?/a>
For telecharge, I would phone them.
