Help! Flight Change...

Our flights have changed-we are arriving at LGA at 9:00 p.m. but my sister-in-law doesn%26#39;t arrive until 11:20 p.m.! We had planned on renting a limo for all 7 of us-now I don%26#39;t know what to do...I can%26#39;t imagine waiting for her with 4 kids-but I don%26#39;t like the idea of leaving her to find her way to the hotel on her own either. Can anyone offer any suggestions? Thanks!!

My husband has offered to wait at the airport for her while I take the kids to the hotel-how many of us can ride in one taxi? There would be 5 of us-should I still reserve a car service? Thanks!

Four passengers max. per taxi.

Allstate - 212 333 3333 - can arrange a larger vehicle.

Carmel - 212 666 6666 - is another option.

Your sister-in-law can easily get a taxi herself if your husband doesn%26#39;t want to wait.

Our airports, especially LaGuardia, are notorious for lengthy delays on arriving and departing flights. Your flight might arrive later than your sister-in-law%26#39;s flight. If we have a thunderstorm, all bets are off.

Do the minivan taxis seat 5?

As far as I know, none of the yellow taxi%26#39;s are allowed to take more than four passengers. I%26#39;ve tried this before when I%26#39;ve been out with groups, it doesn%26#39;t work.

Thousands of people arrive every day alone and manage to get to their hotels safely. I think it%26#39;s admirable that you%26#39;re worried about your SIL but assuming she%26#39;s an adult, she should be able to manage on her own. If you%26#39;re that worried, order a car service for her with ';meet and greet service'; (they wait inside with a sign with her name).

is dependable.

As for your family, with 5, you should be able to fit in a minivan taxi unless you%26#39;re overloaded with luggage. With 6, you do need a minivan or limo.
