House seats - Broadway theatre ?

Hi

Would welcome input into the following dilemma -

We booked tickets months ago for Cirque Dreams ( this Thursday) but have had an email to inform us that, due to filming of the show that night, we need to change our seats. A bit cheesed off cos we had really good seats - (I guess thats why they are filming from there.)

One option we have been offered is '; house seats '; which would be allocated on the night but I have no idea what they are and whether we would be better to opt for these or the other offer of row c mezzanine.

Thanks for any help/ advice you can offer.

Hope I don%26#39;t lead you astray, but ';house seats'; are almost always a very good thing. They are usually the ones a theatre reserves in case some celebrity or other mucky muck decides at the last minute they want to go - can%26#39;t have them sitting in the last row of the balcony, now can they?

But a guarantee of row C mezzanine sounds good, too - are you a gambler?

Warwinds is right. I found this on the theatremania.com website:

';House seats'; are some of the best seats in the theater, set aside for use by cast members, producers, VIPs, the creative team, and others directly involved in the production.';

If it was me, I%26#39;d take them.

You could also try and contact them and ask if they could give you an example of where some of these house seats are located.

Thx Guys

Going to have a think while I drink my coffee

We had house seats for the two Broadway shows that we went to. In our case they were in the orchestra, on the aisle, about row 4 or 5. They were perfect.
