Need a hotel 29/12 to 01/01 for 4 people.

I am looking for a hotel for 2 adults 2 children staying the 29th dec to 1st jan. We are staying a full week but have booked into the salisbury for the last 4 nights as we got a really good rate.I was considering the Hyatt on the hudson as this is coming in our price range about $1000 but ideally would like to be more central.we are flying into JFK.any ideas would be great I am getting fed up of looking.Thankyou.

Hi we stayed the last few years in the Bedford Hotel on East 40th Street just around the block from Grand Central Station and found it very roomly for 4.

This year a friend recommended the Wingate Inn in Manhatten so we are going to give that a try it was very reasonably priced and one block from macy%26#39;s.

If I understand correctly, you%26#39;re coming 12/29- 1/5 (we put the month first and the date second) but have only booked the last 4 nights? I assume you realize those first 3 nights are very expensive (b/c of NYE) and everywhere is ';cheap'; for those first days in Jan.?

Your budget is somewhat unrealistic for a Manhattan hotel for 4 people for those dates. If you can manage with a sofabed for the kids, the Beekman Towers has a 1 bedroom suite available on Orbitz.com for $1080 with tax. It requires prepayment. You can get a similar rate on the hotel%26#39;s own website with an auto club discount (AAA here). Not sure if the UK AA will work but you can try. That wouldn%26#39;t require prepayment.

If you want 2 proper beds, the Skyline hotel has rooms with either 2 double beds or 2 queens for around your budget.
