Hi I am going back to New York in December and we have done the shopping outlets and would rather miss them this year. I heard The Queens shopping Mall was a great place to shop has anyone any infomation about it or any other good places. We are staying one block from Macy%26#39;s.

The Queens Mall has a Macy%26#39;s and a JC Penny. Can%26#39;t imagine you would schlepp there to go to Macy%26#39;s. Here%26#39;s a list of the stores at the Queens mall.

I don%26#39;t know what you%26#39;re shopping for, but Loehmann%26#39;s, Daffy%26#39;s, TJ Maxx, Filene%26#39;s, DSW (for shoes) are all discount stores in Manhattan that should keep you busy.

Thanks for the tips this is my 7th time going back I always go in December and have done all the sightseeing so want to get in a lot of shopping this time.

Macys and bloomingdales have 11% discounts for tourists, the info desk will tell you where to get your discount card, you will need ID, your passport will do fine. Plus, no tax in NYC on clothing under $110 per item.
