5 days in NY

I%26#39;ll be visiting for 5 days, friends suggest I stay longer but I can only do 5 cause of my itinerary. I%26#39;ve only had a brief look at things cause I%26#39;%26#39;m planning a big holiday. I have a few questions

- how much roughly is a cab from JFK to Times Squares?

- Is a NY City Explorer or NY pass worth getting?

- I%26#39;m planning to check out Times Square and around, Central Park, Statue of Liberty, see a baseball game if possible, see parts of Brooklyn, Chinatown, Little Italy. Anything I%26#39;ve missed?

5 days in NY

I forgot to add in Empire State Building.

Also for some attractions like the Empire State, can you buy tickets in advance over the internet?

5 days in NY

I have to leave work in roughly 30 seconds so I can%26#39;t get you the details now (thouhg I%26#39;m sure someone will) but 90% of the tickets you will want/need are available online.

August next year myself and 3 mates will be in New York and are looking at doing pretty much exactly what you are considering. Can I suggest you look in the Rockefeller (however it%26#39;s spelt) building as it has better views of the city apparently.

As for the Statue a company runs ferry tours and is your best bet. If you get down there early you may be able to grab statue passes (first come, first serve basis)

I can%26#39;t answer the 2 specific questions and any of the info I have provided is based on my own research (yet to step foot on US soil let alone NYC lol) so hopefully a local or experienced traveller can give you better insight.

Cheers.

a cab from jfk airport to times square is about 60 dollars that includes the tolls. you just need to leave a tip.
