hello. My father lives in hampton bays and i would like to find a nice and reasonable priced hotel in the area any where from riverhead down to hampton. IF anyone can help i would appriecate it.

Wow, this is an old post...but better late than never...
Riverhead now has two nice hotels (there are more but I would not stay in any of the others). There is a new Holiday Inn Express on Route 58 right in the middle of all the action and an older but still decent Best Western over near Tanger and Splish Splash. IF given my choice, it would be Holiday Inn.

The Hilton Garden Inn Riverhead just opened and it is great!
